General information on Army Hand-to-Hand Combat
Army hand-to-hand combat (AHtoHC) every year is gaining more and more popularity in the world. The explanation is very simple: this martial art is minimally traumatic and combines several progressive species, which took the most versatile contact elements. In other words, the AHtoHC is a set of techniques designed to protect and attack.
AHtoHC is a full contact sport where the soldiers with excellent techniques of punches, kicks and head win. If to add to it the perfected wrestling equipment and skillful use of painful receptions, such fighter becomes simply invincible. This is testified by the facts of real combat clashes with the enemy.
However, not all athletes come to the understanding that AHtoHC is a symbiosis of different types of equipment. Here is the schematic division of the fighters – "wrestlers" (a good mastery of the technique of the wrestler) and "attackers" (expect to win using a hook). Practice shows that karate, boxers, kickboxers can own the initiative on the length of the blow. In the middle or near distance advantage passes to the "wrestlers". In order to become a successful fighter you need to be multilateral: both "wrestler" and "attacker".
We cannot assume that literally everything is allowed in the AHtoHC. There is a list of techniques for which you can earn penalty points, or get disqualified. You can’t strike the eye, hold tight clamps and painful holds on the neck, spine, and wrist. Also prohibited jumping feet and stomping blows to the opponent lying; blows to the groin and neck, you can’t make the capture of the helmet or helmet bars and you can’t make a number of other techniques.
Sports AHtoHC, if you compare it with other martial arts, is different in that it allows you to finish off the enemy who lies: to finish off with your hands, and feet, and standing, and head in the head.
The task of the fighter-to send the opponent to a knockdown or a knockout and to finish fight ahead of schedule. For strikes are awarded points. Leg-on the leg, hand-on the body (1 point), 2 points the fighter receives for a hook in the body, a hand blow to the head or a throw with the separation of both legs from the carpet. The highest number of points – 3 referee gives the kick to the head, knockdown, or sudden amplitude throw.
AHtoHC, as in other martial arts, holds competitions in various age and weight categories, and has its own "table of ranks". The very first category – the 3rd Junior, the most honorary title-masters of sports of international class.
Fights of AHtoHC fighters are held on a square carpet (tatami, mat??) with a size of at least 14×14 meters. The fight occurs inside of a square 8×8 m or 10×10 m. Outer zone of the Mat (with a minimum width of 3 meters) is to ensure the safety of athletes. When you exit fighter beyond the Mat the fight is stopped with the "Stop" command and the athletes are returned at the command of the judge "Fighters to the middle" in the center (mid) Mat. At the same time, if the performance of the reception (throw) began on the territory of the tatami (including in the security zone), and its end occurred outside the square, then such reception is estimated, and the fight stops according to the General rules.
Fighters are divided into age (for fighters up to 18 years and the division into age categories depends on the regulations of the competition) and weight categories ranging from weight to 60 kg to weight over 90 kg in step of 5 kg. Sometimes, by prior agreement, there can be only two weight categories — up to 75 kg and over 75 kg (only adults in local competitions).
Fighters are divided into fighters with a red and blue belt, and in some cases — fighters in black or white kimono. The fighter whose name is listed first in the summary table — wearing a red belt (black kimono).
Fighter relies second, which is responsible for the ammunition of the athlete during the fight (tie the helmet, fix pads, protector, kimono, etc.), as the fighter is not able to solve these problems in the allotted time to improve ammunition. During the fight, the second is on the chair behind the fighter's seat. At the same time the second during a competition it’s forbidden to give to the fighter any commands or councils. For conversations with the second fighter can be made a remark, and in repeated violation — a warning.
The competition uses the following equipment: kimono (length boots, догги??), wrestling-feet with the protection of the heel and foot lift, pads on the Shin, cup protector, protective vest (protector), gloves, knee protection, protection of the forearm and elbow, helmet with metal bars (metal bars of a lattice should be fastened among themselves exclusively by argon welding, otherwise the athlete risks to get serious injury). The lining of the peneplain?? are installed inside the helmet, to the edge of the bars don't hurt the face with strong punches. Protective clothing (except gloves and helmet) is worn under the kimono.
The fight consists of one round and lasts: teenagers, boys and juniors — 2 minutes of pure time, men (and all final fights) — 3 minutes of pure time. Girls and women may have shorter fights at the pre-tournament meeting of team representatives.
Evaluated such technical actions as: punches, kicks, throws and painful techniques. Head strikes and fighting in the "stalls" is not evaluated.
The prohibited methods include: the application of punches with fingers in the eyes; the holding grips of suffocating and painful receptions on the neck, spine, brush, jumping kicking and stomping kicks on the lying opponent; strikes to the groin, neck, joints of arms and legs, neck and spine, on the inner side of thigh; painful receptions in the rack; hold a helmet or the bars of the helmet.

- points (by decision of the side judges);

- in connection with the refusal of the enemy to continue the fight (getting an injury not related to the violation of the rules by the enemy, fatigue, etc.).);

History of the Project IM_AHtoHC_RF
The history of the IM_AHtоHC_RF project
from the President of the International movement Army Hand-to-hand Combat of the Russian Federation
Colleagues engaged in martial arts and various sports, admirers and fans of army hand-to-Hand Combat!
Who wishing to join the army hand-to-Hand Combat of the Russian Federation!
As I said, I have great respect for your choice to be involved in the Russian Federation's military hand-to-Hand combat. Doing AHtoHC you will be able to resist any bad influence on you and protect those who are weaker. These are not empty words. The history of AHtoHC in Russia confirms the above.
The Russian army hand-to-hand combat (abbreviated as AHtoHC) is a universal system of training in fighting and sports methods of protection and attack. It includes all the best of the arsenal of Russian armed forces military training and the world's martial arts, tested in real combat.
The AHtoHC has in its combat arsenal shock techniques with hands, feet, head, wrestling techniques, methods of handling cold weapons. AHtoHC created as a system in special forces strategic Missile forces to protect ballistic missiles with a nuclear warhead from attacks by diversionists and terrorists. The rockets were hidden in the mines and moved by railway. The founder of the AHtoHC is Alexey Kadochnikov. He created the theory and methodology of martial arts and applied it with a focus on knowledge of physics, psychology and anatomy. Therefore, in the process of training, the demonstration of any technical action in the AHtoHC, as a rule, accompanied by an explanation of the physical law or principle that underlies it.
Then AHtoHC moved to other special forces. AHtoHC also gained great popularity for full-contact fights, including in the preparation of airborne troops of Russia, Special Forces of the Ministry of defense.
AHtoHC of Russia is a modern and quickly developing type of single combats. The date of birth of AHtoHC in Russia is 1979. This year in Kaunas (the second largest city of Lithuania) the first championship of airborne troops was held at the sports base of the 7th guards division of the airborne forces.
Reference: from 1795 Kaunas was part of the Russian Empire, then from 1920 it left Russia and became the capital of the Republic of Lithuania, which since 1940 was conquered by Nazi Germany. After the liberation from the Nazis in 1944, the troops of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (abbreviated USSR) became part of the USSR. Lithuania withdrew from the USSR in 1988, and the successor of the USSR became modern Russia. Now Russia, as the state, is called the Russian Federation.
AHtoHC was created by experts and enthusiasts of physical preparation and sports of the airborne forces, strategic missile forces, other branches of the USSR’s armed forces. AHtoHC was successfully introduced into the training program and became the main component of the forms of physical training of the USSR and then of the Russian Federation, as a Hand-to-hand combat (abbreviated as "HtoH"), HtoH -2, HtoH -3.
However, there’s a secret of creation of AHtoHC, which is confirmed by its founder Alexey Kadochnikov- AHtoHC existed earlier than modern history of Russia. The founder of the AHtoHC is the remote ancestors of modern Russian. This ancient Russians, which had skills of battles in those periods of history when there was not Russia, and was a Great Tartary, and then Russia. In their territory were lived ancient Nations, when humanity didn’t have firearms.
AHtoHC has a versatility of training, entertainment fights, reliable protective equipment and clear refereeing-it made AHtoHC as a sport, very popular among the military. Therefore, in 1991, the AHtoHC hosted the first championship of the Armed Forces in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg is one of the largest cities in the Russian Federation, where the current President of Russia Vladimir Putin is from). The first championship of the AHtoHC determined the path and direction of development of AHtoHC.
The military Institute of physical culture (IPC) of the Ministry of defense of the Russian Federation, which is located in St. Petersburg, became the educational and methodological basis for the development of AHtoHC. At the training Department of the IPC, which was called "Department of overcoming obstacles and hand-to-hand combat" began to train instructors and trainers (specialists) for special units of the Ministry of defense of the Russian Federation (RF).
Specialists of the Ministry of defense of the Russian Federation began to be trained in the basics of AHtoHC in IPC. Thus, a system was created for training specialists in physical training and sports of the Armed Forces and power structures of the Russian Federation, such as the Federal Security Service (FSS), the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) and the General Staff Main Intelligence Directorate or GRU, the countries of the Union of Independent States (CIS) - States wishing to adopt an economic and political model of development, as in the Russian Federation.
IPC has created the AHtoHC Center. In the center of hand-to-hand fight train instructors, improve the skills of coaches and judges. The center is engaged in the development and publication of manuals, textbooks on hand-to-hand combat. In order to promote and develop the AHtoHC on the initiative of the Sports Committee of the Ministry of defense (SC MD) in 1992, the Federation of army hand-to-hand combat (FAHtoHC) was established within the Army Association of contact martial arts (AACMA).
Purposeful work of FAHtoHC in conjunction with the SC MD gave the opportunity to include AHtoHC in the military-the sports classification of the Russian Federation in 1993-1996, in the Uniform all-Russia sports classification of the Russian Federation for the period 1997-2000, develop and publish, in 1995, the rules of the contest and to receive from the State Committee on sport of Russia (Russian Federation) the provision of documents on assignment of a rank "Master of sports of the AHTOHC" and sports categories of the AHtoHC (1st category, 2nd category, 2nd category, candidate Master of sports).
The rules of the AHtoHC competitions in 1995 were supplemented and changed in 1997. Today the competitions are held according to the revised rules taking into account the proposals of the leading specialists of AHtoHC in 2003. Here are some of these rules:
· Only persons who have undergone medical examination not earlier than 10 days before the competition are allowed to participate in the competition.
· Participants aged 10 to 17 years in 15 weight categories are allowed to participate in children's and youth competitions.
· Men compete in 7 weight categories.
· The competition uses the following equipment: kimono, shoes-feet with protection heel and instep, the Shin pads, groin shell, protective vest, gloves, leggings, helmet with metal grating.
· Fight lasts 2 minutes at teenagers, young men and juniors, 3 minutes at men.
· Evaluated such technical actions as: punches, kicks, throws and painful techniques.
· The prohibited methods include: the application of punches with fingers in the eyes; holding choking grips and painful techniques on the neck, spine, hand, foot; jumping feet and stomping blows on the lying opponent; blows to the groin, neck, joints of legs and hands, back and spine; pain techniques in the rack; capture the helmet or helmet bars.
· The victory is awarded: by points (decision of the side judges), for a clear advantage (knockout, two knockouts, painful reception, in case of refusal or disqualification of the opponent).
Until 1994, the AHtoHC had the status of a military applied sport and was cultivated only in army units. Over time, a wide range of technical techniques from the AHtoHC arsenal, its applied capabilities, high qualification of the coaching and teaching staff, a rich calendar of competitions with a high level of skill of the participants, aroused great interest not only athletes engaged in various martial arts, but also the younger generation.
AHtoHC entered the civilian life of the Russians as a military-Patriotic sport, preparing them for service in the armed forces, as well as allowing those who left the armed forces to maintain their military fit.
